We’re proud to announce that Kings 3D’s self-developed nylon powder material – PA12 – has successfully passed selected tests for food contact suitability, compliant with the following key European regulations:
Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004
Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and its amendments, including (EU) No 2020/1245 and (EU) No 2024/3190

This certification marks an important milestone for Kings 3D in our continuous pursuit of safer, higher-quality, and application-ready 3D printing materials.
The EU's food contact regulations are among the most stringent in the world. Passing these tests demonstrates that our PA12 powder meets strict European safety and migration limits, ensuring it can be confidently used in applications where food contact is required, from functional prototypes to industrial components used in food processing environments.
As one of the few Chinese 3D printing companies capable of independent material R&D, Kings 3D continues to invest in developing stable, high-performance polymers tailored for industrial additive manufacturing.
Our PA12 offers excellent mechanical strength, low moisture absorption, and high dimensional stability, making it suitable for both functional prototyping and end-use production.
Achieving EU food contact compliance not only enhances customer confidence but also reinforces Kings 3D’s global competitiveness. It reflects our commitment to meeting international standards and supporting customers in sectors that demand certified, application-ready 3D printing materials.
As additive manufacturing moves toward real-world industrial applications, safe and certified materials will play a critical role. Kings 3D will continue to expand our material portfolio to meet evolving global needs — ensuring every product we develop is reliable, safe, and ready for production.
